Ouran High School Host Club: Suoh Tamaki 03

Named René Tamaki Richard de Grantaine, Suoh Tamaki is a second-year student at Ouran Academy and the founder and president of the Host Club. He lived in France with his mother until he was 14-years-old, thereafter he went to live with his father and grandmother in Japan. Tamaki and his father are separated from his French mother because of a deal made between Tamaki’s ill mother and his cold-hearted paternal grandmother. Although he was treated coldly at first, Tamaki was able to win his grandmother’s approval with his mind and kindness and the two eventually grew close.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Ayanami Rei 11

Anno Hideki instructed Sadamoto Yoshiyuki when he was designing Ayanami Rei that "Whatever else, she needs to be painted in as a bitterly unhappy young girl with little sense of presence."

Needless to say, Sadamoto-sensei was able to achieve that effect flawlessly!

In the beginning of the series, Rei is socially withdrawn, appearing to be an emotionless girl who rarely interacted with anyone except for Ikari Gendo. She is known to be living by herself in a dull, sparsely-furnished apartment in Tokyo-3.

Such a convincingly beautiful cosplay! Even the setting is perfect! I wonder if they’re in a lab of some sort? Thanks to Pia for sending this in!

Twilight: Edward Cullen

Described as one of the most charming characters in the series, Edward Cullen is very protective of his beloved Bella Swan and puts her safety, humanity, and welfare before anything else. He has a tendency to over-analyze situations and overreact, especially when it comes to Bella’s safety. He speaks in early 20th century dialect and, after falling in love with Bella, wishes he was human instead of a vampire “monster”.

I suppose this had to be featured eventually, as Lilica, Jamie, Paty, and Sarah have sent this photo to me in 4 different emails. Whoever said Cosplay Holic was limited to Japanese Animation, Manga, and Games? Thanks again for sending this in guys!

Umineko no Naku Koro ni: Asmodeus

The representation of the demon Asmodeus and the corresponding sin of Lust, Asmodeus is the youngest of the Stakes of Purgatory. She is based on the servant Asune, and wants to fall in love, going as far as sacrificing her life for the sake of her wish. Because of her age, she is treated with affection by everyone, but is not taken seriously among the sisters.

One of Yumemiya Arika’s roommates and a good friend of Nina Wong’s, Estin Ho is a sweet, friendly, and often quiet girl who is the 17th Coral in her class. Hailing from the country of Annan, her parents are known to be very wealthy; enough to pay her hefty tuition fees. She and Irina Woods serve as Higurashi Akane’s room attendants.

In the beginning of the 2nd season, Lacus was living with Kira Yamato at Reverend Malchio’s Orphanage in the Marshall Islands. However, the peaceful days came to an abrupt end when a disaster from the new war forced them to move in with their former comrades, Andrew Waltfeld and Murrue Ramius at their shared mansion in Orb. The Coordinators made an attempt on Lacus’ life, but Kira was able to defeat them with the Freedom.

A carefree, second year student at Oyamada Kouta’s school, Minamoto Chizuru may appear to be a normal teenager, but she is actually a powerful 400-year-old kitsune. When she changes her form, her black hair turns blond and she gains fox ears and a tail. She is also seen constantly hanging around Kouta, as he is the only male she acts genuinely towards because of her love for him.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, Heiwajima Shizuo doesn’t have this ability, making him capable of using his full strength at will. His is the naturally unlimited form of human strength, which Kishitani Shinra likens to “adrenaline power” that people get in time of emergency.

Kuroshitsuji II: Alois Trancy 05

Some time after the death of his brother Luca, Alois (whose real name is Jim McCain) was brought along with other boys to the Trancy estate. However, he was initially rejected by Trancy for his “filthy looking eyes”. Alois later overheard another boy talking about summoning a fairy to have his wish come true. Curious to know if such a tale could be real, Alois performed the ceremony and instead summoned Claude Faustus. They then created the contract in what appeared to be a strange dream ritual.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII: Noctis Lucis Caelum 04

In a video footage that first aired in the Tokyo Game Show, Noctis had a short conversation with Stella seeing a form of “light” that no one else could see. Stella then spoke of the Legend of Tenebrae, which stated that when a person is able to see the “light”, they will receive the powers of the dead from the Goddess Etro. The footage was shown to give people an idea of the two character’s personalities.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4: Hanamura Yousuke, Seta Souji, and Shirogane Naoto

Just after Seta Souji’s arrival in Inaba, a TV announcer was found dead hanging among a television antenna. Later, the high school student who made the discovery, Konishi Saki, was also found dead in similar gruesome circumstances. Meanwhile, Souji and his friends accidentally enter TV world where they encounter Teddy and awaken their Persona abilities.

Kuroko is described to be a “girl living in the future” as she is used to the world 30 years from now portrayed by Academy City. However, she is ignorant to the customs of present-day Japan such as the “umbrella drawing” wherein students link their own names to the names of their crush. Kuroko is also known for her bluntness in giving her opinions, much to Uiharu’s annoyance.
